Mr. Ross McKay, B.Sc. Pharm.,
COO & VP
Ross McKay earned his pharmacy degree from the University of British Columbia in 1984. After managing several pharmacies, Mr. McKay joined the senior management team in the pharmacy division of Overwaitea/Save-On Foods. This management team directed the rapid expansion of the pharmacy division and helped it become one of the most successful grocery store pharmacy chains in western Canada. As Wal-Mart first entered Canada in the mid-1990's, Mr. McKay was asked to overlook the successful development of their pharmacy division in British Columbia.
Joining Medicine ShoppeŽ in 1998, Mr. McKay and his team are responsible for helping Medicine ShoppeŽ Franchisees maximize the sales and profitability of their business while building Medicine Shoppe into the leading professional pharmacy format in Canada. |

Stephen Zepp, B.Sc., M.H.A
Executive VP of Franchise Development
Stephen Zepp received his Masters in Health Administration degree in 1976 from the University of Ottawa. Stephen has senior experience in a multitude of health care systems, including hospitals, government, rehabilitation, cancer care, and pharmacy. He joined the Katz Group in 1998 and has managed the growth of the Medicine Shoppe chain from 30 stores back then to 150 today. Mr. Zepp and his team take great pride in helping pharmacists realize their dreams of ownership and success. |
